Neaspec GmbH has been established in 2007, as a spin-off from the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft.
Neaspec develops a novel optical microscopy technology providing nanoscale resolution. The unique advantage of Neaspec microscopy is its capability to recognize chemical composition, distinguish structural modifications, and to measure local conductivity. Neaspec microscopes extend the well-established scanning-probe microscopy by adding infrared spectroscopy.
A whole range of new analytic opportunities is thereby opened because the well-established spectroscopic fingerprinting can now be performed with nanometer-scale resolution.
